(a little something extra... complete albums list)
There’s not much to say here, but all of the albums in the 26 - 55 range are very good. Meaning in the B+ to A- grade wise if you are a Christgauvite or in the 7.5 - 8.4 range. So , Just take a glance at it…it’s definitely a more interesting, diverse and exciting list than the top 25 albums, several of which could be swapped out given the day and mood of my ears. The bottom half isn’t a barrel scrape, it’s certainly more global, jazzier, countrier, etc.

Hard to quantify what it was about the Wussy that didn’t push it into the top 25 higher. I’m still a huge fan and this is one I’ll return to for future evaluation and wallowing. Another disappointment was that I didn’t grok the latest album by The Paranoid Style, although there are a couple of great singles on it that wasn’t enough to push it higher for me. Maybe next time?
